Bullying in any form hurts. This type of anti-social behaviour has not escaped our students and as such there is a level of urgency to eradicate it from all schools across the island.

As a means of addressing this issue, the Division of Education, Research and Technology launched its Anti-Bullying Campaign on Thursday 11th May 2023.

This campaign has become necessary to address the increase in bullying in schools and will involve a series of Anti-Bullying sessions, as well as art, dance, and drama. It is open to all secondary schools and will run from May 15 to June 16, 2023.

DERTech’s objective is to sensitize students to the negative effects of bullying, to boost self-esteem and to encourage respect for one another.
