The Procurement Unit is responsible for managing the acquisition of goods and services for the Division, Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) centres, primary schools, secondary schools and trade centres. Its operations are guided by The Public Procurement and Disposal of Property Act 2015. The Unit services internal and external stakeholders in compliance with, and adherence to, the following procurement best practices:

• Integrity and Transparency

SERVICES

• Acquisition of minor equipment

• Acquisition of cleaning and maintenance supplies
• Acquisition of stationery supplies
• Acquisition of resources for the school repair programme 
• Acquisition of furniture for schools and the Division
• Other approved services

Contractors, service providers and other suppliers wishing to be retained by the Procurement Unit of the Division need to be prequalified with the Procurement Control Office of the Tobago House of Assembly.
