What is a Farm?

A farm is a place where plants are grown or animals are kept for food.

What are the different types of farms?

1. A Crop farm:

On this farm only plants are grown. Some plants that are grown on a crop farm are: oranges, corn, peppers and lettuce.

2. An Animal farm:

On this farm only animals are kept. Some animals that are kept on an animal farm are: cows, sheep, chickens and goats.

3. Mixed farm:

On a mixed farm farmers grow crops and take care of animals. For example, they may grow some crops such as lettuce and peas and take care of some goats and chickens
