OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES – VISITING A FARM
This unit of work is based on a visit to a farm. The following areas of English Language Arts (ELA) have been integrated: Grammar, Spelling and Vocabulary.
In this unit of work, you will:
- Describe ongoing/progressive actions (Grammar)
- Produce the following correctly: words that drop the final ’e’ before adding ‘-ing’ (Spelling)
- Produce the following correctly: words that double the final consonant before adding ‘-ing’ (Spelling)
- Make new words by adding the suffix ‘-ly’ to root words (Vocabulary)
