The Division of Education, Research and Technology is pleased to introduce our newly established ๐๐ฑ๐๐ฐ๐ฎ๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐๐ถ๐๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ ๐๐ฒ๐ฎ๐น๐๐ต ๐จ๐ป๐ถ๐.
Led by House Officer, Dr. Dane Joseph, the team is charged with the responsibility of collaborating with the Divisionโs Occupational Health and Safety Unit to ensure that COVID19 protocols are enforced in schools across the island.
An Infectious Disease Management Plan, established on March 23rd, 2022, outlines a systematic approach to prepare for and respond to any infections or related situations or activity in our schools that warrant a prudent and systematic response. It further details the strategies which will be managed by the Education District Health Unit to minimize infections in all schools in Tobago.
Located on the Divisionโs third floor, the Unit is also responsible for providing medical clearance for the entry/re-entry of teachers and students to school.
