On Monday 23rd May, 2022, Secretary of Education, Research and Technology, Assemblyman Zorisha Hackett presented instruments of appointment to the Board of Directors of the Tobago Information Technology Limited (TITL). The newly appointed Board is mandated to lead the implementation of the Tobago House of Assembly’s Information Communication Technology (ICT) agenda and accelerate this island’s digital transformation through the development, deployment and use of ICT-related technologies.
 
At a simple ceremony held at the Tobago Information Technology Limited’s head office in Signal Hill, Secretary Hackett thanked the Directors for accepting the responsibility to serve and charged them with the responsibility of improving human capital by providing support to the socio-economic development of the people of Tobago.
 
Following the ceremony, a tour led by ICT Manager, Mr. Ian Williams, offered Directors an opportunity to meet staff and view the facility’s technological infrastructure.

The TITL Board will be chaired by Mr. Otis Noel while Mr. Hewlett Waldron will serve as Vice Chairman. Mrs. Sherra Carrington-James, Ms. Kerlan London, Mr. Daniel Lyons, Ms. Tynielle Jack, Mr. Marcus Woods and Mr. Mentor Baptiste will serve as directors. Ms. Aleah Holder will serve as Secretary to the Board.
