Although it primarily focused on dance, the Academy has been involved in general artistic and creative activities, with a view of providing greater cultural education in Tobago and elsewhere. The Academy has participated in the Tobago Heritage Festival since its inception and has mounted two major dance productions since 2013. It has provided entertainment in folk dance and limbo to several major hotels in Tobago. Her knowledge of dance developed beyond the folk arena. She has been a frequent Liturgical Dancer for the Anglican community in Tobago, and provides on-site coaching to young women from the church interested in liturgical dance. In recognition of her contribution to dance in Tobago, a sculpture was created, in her honour by Louise Kimmie of Germany and Donieski of Cuba, which is erected in the lobby of Mt Irvine Hotel.
